Self Taping & Audition with Astrid Wells Cooper

This class is a unique opportunity to work closely with casting director, Astrid Wells Cooper.

With an emphasis on converting opportunity into employment, you will explore a variety of texts, genres and performance styles, and with expert tuition will learn to confidently master your approach to the audition process. Through a step-by-step break-down of your performance in the audition room, Astrid will guide you towards creating truthful, simple and dynamically compelling performances.

This audition and self-tape course is designed to provide you with all the essential tools and skills to confidently take control of your audition . You will learn how to quickly break down a script, and how to identify all the interpretational options available to you when making performance choices.

• Explore genre

• Learn how to break down a script

• Develop strong characters

• Learn how to make unique choices

• Discover the "unique you"

• Learn how to be "flexible" in your performance and take direction

FEE: $550 (incl. GST)

Payment plan: $137.50 Deposit and $68.75 per week for 6 consecutive weeks
