Professional Screen Acting & Showreel Course

Created by multi-award winning film and television casting director, Tom McSweeney, this 30 week Acting & Show Reel course is designed to provide actors with all the fundamental professional skills and knowledge required to build a successful career as a working screen actor.

This course commences on 9th of April 2021, running over 30 weeks (plus 2x 1-week breaks after each 10-week trimester), for one full day per week.

Structured to condense your training commitment to only one full day per week, the course will run from 9am-8:30pm on Fridays (3x3-hour modules plus 2.5 hours of breaks), and will cover the critical disciplines of:
• Acting for the Screen
• Auditioning for the Screen
• Voice
• Accent
• Movement/physical communication/combat
• Improvisation
• Screenwriting/content creation

Students will graduate the course with a Professional Showreel, as well as the fundamental acting skills required to pursue a successful and sustainable career in the Film & Television industry, and the elementary skills necessary to be able to start developing Film and TV content.

The Showreel Course concludes with an industry networking event, hosted by the Warehouse Workshop Screen Acting Studio, where the students' showreel scenes will be on display to the public and industry professionals including local agents, casting directors, filmmakers and fellow actors.

Fees: $6,000.00 including GST (payment plans available)
