A comprehensive, on-set, exploration of intricate Screen Acting skills with Phil Holder
This Intermediate Screen Acting course is designed for aspirational actors who have either completed the Foundation Beginners Course or who have previously studied the fundamental skills of working as a Film and TV actor elsewhere. Founded on the training and skills that you have previously acquired, you will continue to hone your essential performance skills, and in addition, will further develop the practical preparation processes that you will potentially use throughout your professional film career.
The development of habitual discipline is the root of creative freedom.
Working with well-crafted scripts and characters of increased complexity, this course focuses on the exploration of the practical tools and methodologies that will enhance your ability to repeatedly create natural, believable, truthful, and moving performances.
To that end, you will explore:
The intimate nature of film performance
The in-depth creation and development of well-crafted, believable characters
The emotional, psychological, inner worlds of the character
Complex character relationship development
Vulnerability and sincere emotional engagement
Character world building
