Professional Screen Acting & Showreel Course

Created by multi-award winning film and television casting director, Tom McSweeney, and the Warehouse team, this 30 week Acting & Show Reel course is designed to provide actors with all the critical professional skills and knowledge required to build a successful career as a working screen actor.

This course commences on 12th April 2024, running over 30 weeks (plus 2 x 1-week breaks after each 10-week trimester), for one full day per week.

Structured to condense your training commitment to only one full day per week, the course will run from 9am-8:00pm on Fridays (3x3-hour modules plus 2 hours of breaks), and will cover the critical disciplines of:
• Acting for the Screen
• Auditioning for the Screen
• Voice
• Accent
• Movement/physical communication/combat
• Improvisation
• Screenwriting/content creation

Students will graduate the course with a Professional Showreel, as well as the essential acting skills required to pursue a successful and sustainable career in the Film & Television industry, and the industry-relevant skills and understanding necessary to be able to start working in the industry.

The Showreel Course concludes with an industry networking showcase event, hosted by the Warehouse Workshop Screen Acting Studio, where the students' showreel scenes will be screened to the public, and to industry professionals including agents, casting directors, filmmakers, and fellow actors.

Age: 17+ years
Fees: $7,500.00 including GST (payment plans available with $750 deposit)
