ONLINE - Teenage Screen Performance

One of our most successful and popular Youth Programs, the Teenage Screen Performance Program has had a revamp! This course is a 10 week skills and development class for actors aged 13 to 17 years. The program is suitable for both beginners and those young actors who have previously acquired screen acting abilities.

 

In this ever-changing and adapting digital world, more and more screen auditions are being held via self tapes and now also Zoom meeting auditions. This program provides a fun and supportive environment for young actors to practice their scene analysis, screen acting, self tape, and audition skills, and to increase their scope and range. Students are encouraged to approach screen performance and screen audition positively and to find fun within the process, allowing for a more liberated and truthful performance.

During each class, engaging and dynamic film & television scripts are used as exercise tools to develop analytics, performance and confidence. Some weeks students will be given the opportunity to learn and rehearse the lines with their scene partners, before performing the scenes live over Zoom, and in other weeks will prepare a self tape at home and submit it prior to class and then receive supportive and constructive feedback.

The class runs on Monday afternoons from 4.30pm - 6.30pm and class numbers are strictly capped allowing tutors to provide one-on-one tailored tuition and feedback for each student based on their individual work.
