The Essentials of Screen Audition and Self-Tape Processes
Suitable for all skill levels from beginners to advanced, this 2 Day Intensive Workshop is designed to expose teenage students to a range of professional skills that are relevant to preparing for and winning roles within both US and Australian productions.

Designed to be relevant to the needs and expectations of the industry, the workshop will cover a range of skills and tools that will enable the young actor to work comfortably, and confidently, within the pressured environment of the audition process, and to take full advantage of the audition opportunity.
Under the combined tutelage of Tom and Dave, in an energetic and fun environment, the students will undertake modules exploring:

A comprehensive explanation of the audition process

How to prepare for an audition, whether it is a self tape or an 'in-the-room' audition

Audition and Self-Tape Tutorial

Casting, Script Analysis & Rehearsal (2x scripts)

Recording of a self tape (homework)

Review of recorded self tapes, feedback and coaching

Using the second script, a simulated 'in-the-room' audition, feedback and coaching

This program exposes the students to all the relevant professional processes and tools required to effectively meet industry standards, and to audition at a professional performance level with enjoyment, confidence, and ease.
Please note that this workshop is strictly limited to 16 students only.

Footage recorded during this workshop is also available to our students for self-marketing purposes (please bring portable hard drive or USB speed 3.0 or faster to collect).
