Tween June Holiday Workshop - Screen Audition 

Mon 27th to Tues 28th June 2022

This Screen Audition Intensive Workshop is a 2-day holiday program, for young actors aged 8-12, that has been created to build screen audition skills to a professional international standard in preparation  for the countless US and Australian film and television productions scheduled for filming in Queensland and Northern NSW in 2022 and beyond.

Suitable for all skill levels from beginners to advanced, this program is designed to simplify the audition process, to explore every aspect of auditioning for the screen, and to help participants to embrace opportunity and to take control of the audition process thus maximising their employment prospects. 

 

​In a safe and supportive environment, with our highly qualified, encouraging, and skilful tutors, participants will undertake modules exploring:

• Screen Audition Techniques

• Simulated Audition

• Fundamental Script/Scene Breakdown

• Improvisation/learning through play

Students will experience the 'Simulated Audition' casting director, Astrid Wells Cooper and receive valuable feedback afterwards.

​

All footage recorded during our workshops and weekly classes is kept on our databases for 12 months and is used as a reference for our multi-award winning sister company, McSweeney Newman Casting. The footage is also available to our students for self-marketing purposes.

Please note that class numbers are strictly limited. Class sizes are kept small so that each student can receive specific and personalised feedback and tuition.
