Cassie Smith

 

Cassandra Smith is a QUT Fine Arts graduate with a passion for the creative industries. Cassandra is an actor, dancer, and performer passionate about all aspects of the creative arts. She has recently returned from two years abroad in Vancouver, Canada working on major title productions in the film and television industry. These include: Supergirl, Riverdale, DC Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman, Siren and The Flash, to name a few.

Her dance training began with the Royal Academy of Dance from the age of 4 through to university standards. She has taught dance, music, and drama lessons to various early learning childhood centres right across the Gold Coast and Brisbane and has experience teaching dance to children of all ages (right through to teenage years).

 

Cassandra’s passion for the creative arts led her to the path of acting for film and television, where she spent many years studying the craft of script analysis, character breakdown, movement and body awareness and more. Her experience working daily on a filmset has deepened her understanding of importance of the actor’s responsibility to get to the truth of the scene.
